<![CDATA[BASC and Forelock and Load are bringing the ST-2 to the masses!
As many of you may well know, we have the ST-2 Simulator coming into the shop in time for this coming game season.
We have been working with BASC now for some time and have always liked the way in which as a company they do everything in their power to help and encourage shooting of all disciplines. So when Peter Marshall mentioned about the simulator we jumped at the chance to bring it into the shop. Albeit we had never heard of the training/coaching aid before!
With this kind of simulator, the shooter has the ability to choose different scenarios in which to practice from American Skeet over to Driven Boar. Each one with its own scenario and backdrop projected onto the screen.
The dates for your diary are 1st to 6th September with the shop open from 9-17:30 on week days and 10-16:00 on weekends. Yes we are here 7 days a week!
Prices for the day are below:
- Have a Go : £3 or free to BASC Members
- Coaching : £7 or £5 to BASC Members
- Try Your Own Gun : £7 or £5 to BASC Members
- Try the Shops Guns : £5 (Refunded on purchase) or Free to BASC members
- Grouse Challenge: £5 per entry with prizes to be announced on the day
On coming to the shop, customers are welcome to try any gun in the shop on the simulator. Or if you would rather, bring in your own gun for some coaching to iron out any faults/find any faults with technique. The effect of changing chokes, load and shot size for different targets is also an option.
One announcement that we will be giving soon is a new breed of shotgun, not only to the shop but also to the UK. The importers of the brand will be on hand to give advice and answer any questions you may have on them. You will also have the chance to handle them in the shop as well as try them on the simulator. We will be offering deals on them on the days and are available to most budgets. In store deals will be going on while the simulator is here on cartridges, clothing and kit. Why not pick up a bargain and improve your shooting at the same time?
We are going to be running a Grouse Challenge too. A 25 bird flush with the fastest game bird in the British Isles the prize for the winner will be announced on the days.
