“Coming from a mountain bike background I have only ever had aluminium road bikes before, but I fancied getting something a bit lighter and faster.
The Orro Venturi came in at a great price point so I bought it on the cycle to work scheme.
It has been great compared to my previous road bikes and has really helped me to ride that little bit faster (plus it also climbs really well for an aero bike) – I have been riding my 33 mile commute quite a bit on it since the weather has picked up which has been ideal in improving my fitness.
It has also helped save me quite a few pounds not having to fill my car up so often given the cost of fuel these days!
The bike has also been great on longer rides. I have done a few 60 mile rides on the Venturi and I have been really pleased with how comfortable the bike is over longer distances given it is an aero bike. Running the 28c tyres at around 80 PSI seems to work really well to maintain a decent speed and good level of comfort.
I would definitely recommend an Orro Venturi for riders wanting to take their road riding to the next level and there are some cracking group set options available.“
