We brought Transition’s Laps On Us event to the Forest of Dean!
What a weekend… We headed up to Cannop Cycle Centre’s famous trail centre early Saturday with Transition Bikes’ US team for a rad day out on the trails.
Instead of giving out a limited number of all-day uplift tickets, we handed out single uplift passes (expertly provided by FlyUp Downhill) to whoever came by the booth. That way, we managed to get more people up the hill for free, giving out over 400 tickets throughout the day!

The TR boys were ripping, everyone had fun and even Windwave big boss Peter sneaked a few laps onboard his super lightweight Spur. It was great to see all the riders, whether on Transition bikes or other, coming together and enjoying the vibes. True to Transition’s mantra: Party in The Woods!

Naturally, we had a bit of merch on display, as well as some much-needed energy gels courtesy of High5 Sports Nutrition. Of course, we also brought a couple epic TR builds to the party, because why the hell not!

Of those, we had Transition’s brand-new e-bike, the Repeater, which we pimped out in classic Windwave fashion with DVO suspension, Hutchinson tyres and Granite tubeless valves. Everyone was very much feeling the green-on-green colour combo, commenting on how much of a good-looking bike the Repeater was compared to similar bikes on the market.
