Looking for a career in the exciting world of cycling?
We are looking to add a new sales person to our dedicated team. Ideally, you will have some experience working in the cycling industry, but it isn’t essential.
The starting point is your enthusiasm for cycling with good all round knowledge of bikes and accessories. We will help you develop your sales and mechanical skills with mentoring, coaching and training.
We can also offer an apprenticeship in Bicycle Mechanics which is a work-based training programme for bike mechanics designed around the needs of the cycle trade that lead to nationally recognised qualifications (such as Cytech accreditation).
This apprenticeship is the only training scheme available that includes Cytech certification as part of the programme. On completion, the apprentice becomes a fully trained, professional master technician in bicycle mechanics.
Fully approved by The Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education and supported by the Association of Cycle Traders (ACT), this is an 18 month, intermediate, Level 2 apprenticeship standard (ST0622).
Your role with us, will be to cover all aspects of sales, integrated EPOS and web stock control, PDI of new cycles and assessment of repairs for the workshop. The right candidate will need good communication skills and as the role offers commission, your earnings will grow with your success.
We are an independent company, and we are always looking for new ways to add value to our customers’ experience. We will look for your ideas and contribution to help to continue moving our business forward looking at new trends and innovations.
It is a full time role in a busy shop, so your hours and salary can be discussed on application. Please send your CV to email@example.com or call us on 01753 520 528 if you have any questions.
