Forelock and Load, along with Stübben have placed a huge range of Stübben Accessories with NZ event rider Caroline Powell. The range is vast and the feedback so far has been superb! We are kicking off with the Stübben Airflow Brushing Boots which are a very good everyday protective brushing boot. These boots are lightweight and breathable and have been given a huge thumbs up, along with the purchasing of more!

The Stübben Airflow Brushing Boots are lightweight and breathable. Made from a flexible Storm EVA carbon composite, they are ergonomically shaped for a contoured fit. They offer 360 degree ventilation due to the unique lamination.

I have been using the Stübben Airflow Brushing Boots for about 5 months now. I am always slightly wary of lightweight and breathable brushing boots, in case they don’t stand up to the job. We run a very busy yard with at least 20 horses in work at any time. That is a lot of use and stress that we put on the products we use everyday. All of our boots are washed daily and need to be able to cope with that along with the constant use.

I was drawn to the Airflow Brushing Boots for several reasons.
• They look smart
• They are breathable and lightweight
• Easy to put on with either 2 or 3 Velcro fastenings
• Easy to wash

The Airflow Brushing Boots look really smart on my horse’s legs. You can see from the images below how smart they are. They are not bulky and do not interfere or restrict any movement.

Instantly I am impressed with how quick and easy they are to put on your horse’s legs. Due to the amount of horses I ride and getting them ready, it is really important that we don’t have lots of buckles and clips to deal with. The single touch close Velcro is a real winner for me. The straps are wide enough to secure the boot without being bulky and you can put them on and take them off with your gloves on.

I have found that they haven’t slipped or twisted which can be a real pain. They fit very true to size and offer good all round protection. My horse’s all range between medium and large.

The Airflow Brushing Boots are £69-95 a pair. I actually feel for the durability and the way they are performing, they are definitely worth every penny.

I am really pleased with the way the Stübben Airflow Brushing Boots have held up to life on our yard. I would definitely recommend them and have since purchased more. We keep several sets on the lorry especially for competitions.
