Caroline is an International event rider, representing Team New Zealand. She is based about 4 miles from Forelock and Load, in Suffolk and we are thrilled to work alongside her. Caroline has been a regular member of Team NZ for many years and it is a delight to work with such an experienced rider!
Caroline is best known for partnering her incredible little horse, Lenamore with whom she won Team Bronze at the 2012 Olympic Games in London and won Burghley Horse Trials in 2010, as well as part of Team NZ at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She also won Team Bronze at the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky. The duo were a familiar sight on the NZ team bringing an amazing amount of trust and flair to the cross country phase at every event. Together they completed 7 Badmintons and 5 Burghley’s.
Caroline has had a host of 5* horses to her name including, Greenacres Special Cavalier, Onwards and Upwards, On The Brash, Spice Sensation, Up Up and Away, Mac Macdonald, Softly Softly and Boston Two Tip to name a few.
Based near Newmarket in Suffolk, Caroline and her partner Greg have built the most amazing equestrian facility. They have many state of the art luxuries including a treadmill, indoor and outdoor arenas and solarium for their string of event horses.
With more than 27 Burghley, Badminton, Pau and Luhmühlen completions under her belt as well as 2 World and Olympic Games Caroline, is one of the most experienced and proven female event riders in the sport. She takes huge satisfaction and pride in producing her own young horses up to the top levels, which is why she has produced nearly all of her team horses from the beginning.
