The YDX-MORO line of Yamaha Power Assist Electric Bicycles features two full-suspension electric bikes.

Yamaha YDX-MORO e-bike
PW-X3 motors offer significant performance gains with updated specs for new e-bikes. They feature a continuous power rating of 250W and a maximum torque of 85 Nm. According to Yamaha, the PW-X3 can produce 500W of peak power in its highest operation mode.
There are five ride modes on the PW-X3: Eco, Standard, High, MTB, Extra-Power, Automatic-Mode, and Walk-Assist. Yamaha’s Automatic Mode lets the rider focus entirely on the trail ahead as the ebike intuitively selects the power mode based on the rider’s style whilst climbing, descending or braking.
Yamaha’s quad-sensor technology promises the most intuitive pedal assist feedback and delivers torque instantly from the moment the pedal is pushed.
Although the Yamaha PW-X3 drive unit is 20% smaller and 10% lighter, the unit still packs a massive punch producing more torque and that unique ‘Pure Ride’ feeling. The racing heritage of Yamaha drives Yamaha’s passion for performance, and the YDX-MORO 07 and YDX-MORO 05 are true pedigree thoroughbreds for the next generation of electric mountain bike riders.
These new bikes come with Yamaha’s 3-year warranty. In addition, both feature similar mountain-ready components, such as Maxxis tires in 28mm tubeless Minion DHF (front) and Rekon (rear) and TranzX 30.9mm dropper seat posts for quick saddle height adjustments.
Magura MT30 hydraulic disc brakes will be mounted on 203 mm rotors on the YDX-MORO 05, along with the SL-M6100-R shifter and RD-M6100-SGS rear derailleur from Shimano, a 12-speed Shimano SLX CS-M7100-12 cassette and a RockShox Deluxe Select+ rear shock. The bike is expected to become available in early 2023.
A Magura MT5 hydraulic disc brake system on 203 mm rotors is included on the YDX-MORO 07 as well as Shimano’s SL-M8100-R shifter, Shimano’s RD-M8100-SGS rear derailleur, a 12-speed (10-51T) Shimano XT CS-M8100-12 cassette, a 150mm travel RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ rear shock, and a 160mm travel RockShox Lyrik Select front fork.
