Race mode
Performance Line CX Race’s Race mode is specifically designed for eMTB racing and was developed with professional athletes, and is designed to maximise performance. However, managing the Race mode is not for the faint-hearted and requires precise riding technique.
Thanks to its powerful support, this riding mode helps you accelerate faster and reach top speeds, saving you invaluable seconds as you strive for gold. With even more kick and power, negotiate big rocks and roots, Extended Boost (already popular in eMTB mode) is now available in Race mode.
85 Nm of powerful acceleration
This Performance Line CX Race delivers rapid acceleration from a standing start and across challenging stretches, obstacles, tight corners, and hairpin bends. Every turn of the pedals translates into power converted directly into traction. The high-performance motor provides powerful support even at high cadences exceeding 120 rpm. Lightweight and compact
Performance Line CX Race weighs just 2.75 kg meaning this is the lightest of all Bosch drive units. Hill Hold
The Hill Hold function prevents your eBike from rolling backwards in extreme slopes and unrideable sections. If riding an eMTB through a tight, steep bend, you can use hill hold more effectively to control the bike’s movement.
