At Cycles UK we offer a comprehensive range of Servicing and repairs to keep your bike running at optimum performance.
Like other machinery and vehicles, a cycle should be regularly serviced and maintained to keep the bike running safely and efficiently. Our cycle mechanics are trained to the industry standard of Cytech training so you know and Servicing & Repairs have been carried out by a professional.

Safety Check:
Full safety check to include the following
Checks
- All nuts and bolts for correct torque
- Wheels spin freely
- Condition of tyres and inflate to correct pressure
- Bottom bracket for wear and lateral free movement /play
- Assess condition and any requirements of gear and braking systems
- Check headset for wear and tear
- List any recommendations for improvement’s based on finds
Bronze Service (Interim):
Checks
- All nuts and bolts for correct torque
- Wheels spin freely
- Condition of tyres and inflate to correct pressure
- Bottom bracket for wear and lateral free movement /play and adjust as required
- Gears and braking system and adjust as required
- Transmission for wear and lubricate chain
- Headset for wear and free movement and adjust as required
- List any recommendations for improvement’s based on finds
Silver Service Main Service (All of the above from the bronze including below)
Checks
- All nuts and bolts for correct torque
- Wheels spin freely
- Condition of tyres and inflate to correct pressure

- Clean/Degrease transmission

Gold Service (Full Strip Down & Rebuild Service)
Checks
- All nuts and bolts for correct torque
- Wheels spin freely
- Condition of tyres and inflate to correct pressure
- Bottom bracket for wear and lateral free movement /play and adjust as required
- Gears and braking system and adjust as required
- Transmission for wear and lubricate chain
- Headset for wear and free movement and adjust as required
- List any recommendations for improvement’s based on finds
- True and tension dishing of both wheels.
- External adjustments of the wheels axles
Plus
- Full strip down rebuild of the frame and forks
- Frame and forks cleaned and checked for alignment
- All threads checked and cleaned
- Bottom Bracket cleaned and checked for wear and re-assembled with fresh grease
- Headset cleaned and checked for wear and re-assembled with fresh grease and adjusted
- Hubs dissembled cleaned and checked for wear and re-assembled with fresh grease and adjusted
- Chain cleaned and re-lubricated
- Brake pads checked and adjusted, replaced if required then re-adjusted
- All other parts checked, cleaned and re-lubricated
Suspension Servicing
Fork and rear suspension servicing will be charged according to the external servicing agents (or one of our designated suspension servicing stores where applicable)
We charge a handling fee of £30, this covers the removal, refitting, postage and any adjustments that the forks require upon their return.
