“I have ridden a Trek Emonda for 3 years and loved the fit and ride feel. So, when it came to looking for an endurance bike with a slightly more relaxed fit but capable of enduring a British winter, the Domane stood out for me. From the outset, I set it up with my usual measurements and rode a 200km Audax without any discomfort. The gearing is spot on for hillier rides and the front and rear IsoSpeed certainly reduce the road buzz. Perfect for long days in the saddle.

For winter riding I added a set of Bontrager NCS mudguards to keep off the worst of the spray and muck. With the very handy internal storage, I bought the Bontrager BITS multi-tool that conveniently fits in the downtube cover and added the integrated rear light saddle mount. Trek has clearly thought this through, and these very neat little additions add up to a complete package.”

Thanks Cav! You can check out Trek’s incredible range of road bikes here.
